Harbour Plaza Metropolis – Hotel near airport in Hong Kong

I was thrilled with the magnificent views of the Harbour from my room, complete with kitchen utensils. However, the room smelled like a mix of mold, thinner, and deodorant, and the shower facility was a bit inconvenient with fluctuating water temperatures. The hotel staff were extremely friendly and helpful, but there were a few issues with them throwing things on my plate without asking. The hotel's location, although connected to a shopping center, was a bit off-center, yet still convenient with a promenade walk along the waterfront. The dining experience was superb, especially at the in-built mall with an Indian restaurant and massage parlor. The facilities were decent with great options available.

My stay at the hotel was lovely. The room had a nice view from up high and the bed was really comfortable. However, it wasn't a themed room but had a good-sized desk and mirror. I was much happier with the second room, especially if you want a balcony. The service was efficient, though not overly welcoming unless you made an effort to be friendly. The location was good for my office near the harbor front, but a bit far from the city center. The dining experience was good with a variety of options, but a bit expensive at HKD 560, especially with gluten-free choices. The facilities were adequate for my needs.
